                                             Mental Health First Aid

  • Mental health issues such as stress, depression and anxiety account for almost 70 million days off sick per year.
  • Just some of the mental health issues that commonly affect employees across businesses of all types include: depression, anxiety, panic attacks and others many of which often remain hidden until an individual requires crisis help.
  • This costs the UK economy between £70 and £100 billion per year.
  • 60% of employees say they’d feel more motivated and more likely to recommend their organisation as a good place to work if their employer took action to support mental health and wellbeing.

The course was great, so informative, and refreshing to be with people who were open with their own experiences of mental ill health.

I’ll be recommending it to everyone!

Laura Phillips

Family Care Group

The 2 day Adult MHFA course was well executed by Katie Bancroft, the amount of new things I learnt was astounding.

It has helped broaden my outlook and skills on mental health illness so I am more able and confident to be there for others as well as being more aware of my own mental health and general wellbeing.”

I believe MHFA training should be compulsory in all workplaces and every sector

Nicole Brecknell

“This was a thought-provoking and informative training course, which sent me away not only with high-quality resources, but also greater confidence in being able to assist, assess and advise people experiencing mental ill health.”
John Habron

Head of Music Education, Royal Northern College of Music

“Katie & Sarah managed to fit the 300 page Adult MHFA manual into a 2 day course, breaking down the overwhelming amount of information & delivering concise and relevant content. The use of their own and others real life experiences helped the participants to understand the context of dealing with crisis in adult mental health in the workplace .”
Lucy Powers

Business Development Director, Powers & Tiltman Ltd

”A very valuable and interesting course, giving great insight into the various ways and methods to offer advice and help to co-workers or friends suffering from low mental health. I gained confidence in dealing with situations which in the past I would have found difficult or avoided.”
Tim Nixon
